LASER COMPONENTS proudly presents its high accuracy multiple reference point position alignment system - the OT-4040. The OT-4040 is designed with precision in mind, with the ability to detect the position of a laser spot up to 100 meters distance with accuracies of 25 microns!
The main advantage of the OT-4040 system over others is its ability to detect multiple position points along the same line. Using our TTS4 transparent targets the system can detect up to 8 separate, simultaneous X-Y deviations from the same laser line (seven TTS4 targets and a TS4 reference target) with a target active area of 25mm diameter, making this system ideal for long range shaft alignment, tunnel alignment, civil engineering and construction straightness and linearity monitoring, and any other long range high precision alignment task you can think of!
The OT-4040 system displays data from a hand-held CPU for on-the-fly readings, and for data collection via an RS232 interface for easy connectivity and remote data processing.
The OT-4040 alignment laser system is extensively proven by aircraft manufacturers, shipbuilders, and the automotive industry, and has significantly streamlined efficiency and reduced man hours in a varied range of challenging alignment applications.
Anyone can operate the OT-4040 system with its simple and intuitive control system, and even first time operators can have the system working and taking measurements in less than five minutes of opening the box!
