Professionally Clean Connectors for Use in the Laboratory and the Field
Professional and complete connector cleaning systems are available for use in the laboratory and the field. These include the CleanBlast™ system from Viavi and the FerrulePro™ cleaner from Seikoh Giken.
CleanBlast™ - Noncontact Cleaning Method
Using this noncontact cleaning method, connectors and fiber tips can be quickly, controllably, and repeatedly cleaned and contaminants removed. By mixing compressed air and cleaning fluid, this cleaning method is much more effective than other methods. The cleaning fluid applied to the end face dissolves dirt, which is removed in the next step. This method is fully automated and can, therefore, be operated by persons without any experience.
With this system, vastly different connectors can be cleaned, including patch cords (male) and bulkheads (female).
FerrulePro™ Fiber Connector Cleaning Unit for Use in Production
This unit is designed for use in the laboratory and production: FerrulePro™ is suited for cleaning large numbers of connector end faces. This fully-automated tabletop unit takes just three seconds for one cleaning cycle. It is equipped with a cleaning cartridge, and changing the cleaning materials is very fast and user friendly.
