Die neue IAE200-Serie eignet sich für den Spektralbereich von 1000 nm bis 1650 nm.
Die aktive Fläche der IAE200-Serie hat einen Durchmesser von 200 µm. Geliefert wird die APD im TO-46 Gehäuse oder auf einem Keramiksubstrat, welches sich leicht in eigene Hybridaufbauten integrieren lässt. Bei einer Kapazität von typisch 1 pF sind Bandbreiten von mindesten 500 MHz realisierbar. Der interne Verstärkungsfaktor beträgt 10, so dass kleine Signale im IR-Bereich detektiert werden können und der Messbereich von „augensicheren“ Abstandsmesssystemen deutlich gesteigert wird.
